中文课程简介

教学目的：机器人在多学科中的应用越来越广泛。本课程以拓宽学生的知识视野为目的，从应用角度出发，介绍机器人所涉及的基础知识；并根据课程负责人近年来从事相关科研的实践经验，对该技术在多个学科中的典型应用实例进行详细讲解，向学生介绍机器人的最新发展动态；并通过在授课过程中与学生进行启发式问答与讨论的形式，培养学生独立思考能力和科研创新能力。

英文课程简介

Robot has been widely used in multi-disciplines. This course is designed for college students from different academic backgrounds who are interested image processing and would like to develop the ability to use this technique to resolve their practical tasks. In this course, you will first learn the basic knowledge/methods of robot, and then will be given some applications examples. At last, you may be encouraged (but not forced) to design a simple robot with what you will have learned in the course.
