The purpose of the subject is to introduce students to an important management tool – projects which have been widely used in practice to produce specific outcomes within clearly defined time, cost and quality constraints and used to guide research project development and implementation.This subject will introduce students to the main approaches to planning, project management and evaluation and the issues, skills and data sets needed to apply them in health settings. It focuses on the application of planning, project management and evaluation models and methods and the practical issues and concerns that arise in the process of implementation.
